It is that time of year again. It comes faster and faster each year, I think. Despite the awful, stormy weather, our students made a great effort this morning, bringing in food to represent their countries. We had food from Japan, Korea, Belgium, Spain, Singapore, Kuwait, Brazil and Saudi Arabia. There was fabulous rice dishes from Japan and Saudi Arabia and the Brazilians made beautiful cheese bread. From Belgium, we had delicious chocolate cake and from Spain, Spanish omelette and Spanish ham. There was Saudi coffee and Japanese green tea. Of course, the Brazilians brought the music and got everyone dancing.
All in all, it was a great morning. And from all of us at the University Language Centre, we wish you a very Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year. See you in 2014!
